About Our Department
The department of information technology has yoked
into the VR Siddhartha Engineering College in the year 2000 and is
striving for the quality of technical education and building up
professionalism since then. Initially the intake of students was 60 and
the number goes to 120 as of now. The department is well-equipped with
effective infrastructure facilities along with a research laboratory
.The department has young, well-qualified and experienced faculty headed
by a dynamic professor. The department is known for its discipline and
professionalism is also maintained as a whole. The students frequently
represent the college in various conferences and achieved a remarkable
identification. Various extra and co-curricular activities are held
within the department
for the better development of students in every way possible.
IT department symbolizes the maturing of
technical ability and "can-do" entrepreneurial spirit, especially as
derived from the private sector. We seek to develop in each member of
the IT community the ability and passion to work wisely, creatively, and
effectively for the better society.
We would take it as a great honour and privilege to organize the techno-cultural fest of Siddhartha this year.
